In order for a Parent to be considered for our Visitation Coaching Program, Hope Spring Community must receive at least 3 referral forms from CASA volunteer, CPS Worker, Judge, Mentor, Foster Parent to child and/or Attorney. When 3 referrals are received, parent will be asked to fill out an intake and will be scheduled for an Intake Interview.  

Priority will be given over Waitlist for a parent who has waited for DNA testing if their child is already actively visiting at HSC with another parent. 

In FBSS/Ordered To Participate Cases only one referral is needed from Caseworker.

Criteria for Consideration:

Parent must show track record of following court-ordered plan

Parent must demonstrate willingness to learn new skills and have a desire to reunify

Parent must be engaged in mental health counseling if applicable

Parent must be communicative with their team including CASA, Attorney, CPS Workers

Legal team must be supportive of participation in the program
